The Empire State Building
- A date doesn't get much more incredible than at the top of the Empire State Building. You can go on a day or evening date because the observatory is open until 2 a.m., with the last elevator going to the top at 11:15 p.m. It's the tallest building in New York that provides breathtaking views of the city. Once you've had enough romance at the top, consider lunch or dinner at the New Yorker hotel nearby.
- Central Park attracts 25 million visitors per year and with good reason. It offers the perfect environment for a date. You can take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the park, which is sure to be a romantic experience, and rides last until 2 a.m. The Central Park Zoo is another great date idea because it's open 365 days a year and you can view animals from all over the world. You can also go for a row, go for a walk, visit the carousel or have an afternoon picnic in the park.
- Once the home to many struggling artists, Greenwich Village has become a hip and entertaining part of the city. If you are a music fan, consider a date at the Blue Note Jazz club. A regular lineup of well-known jazz musicians play at the club, and it also offers a full menu. You can also hit up Bleecker Street, which is lined with cool restaurants and clubs, and the bohemian environment provides plenty of options and live entertainment for a date.
- Take a Spirit Cruise for a romantic date. Enjoy the beautiful view of New York from the harbor during the day, evening or midnight cruise. An all-inclusive cruise package provides meals, amazing views, dancing and live entertainment. The cruises depart from Chelsea Pier all year round. There are brunch cruises available for daytime dates, but no matter what time of the day you go, a cruise is sure to be a memorable date.
